Become a Volunteer
Our sanctuary could not function without the amazing support from our volunteers. With over 70 animals in our care, there is lots of work to be done from cleaning paddocks to daily grooming.
Volunteer Requirements
Volunteering at the sanctuary is rewarding but is physically demanding. We are very flexible with scheduling. All we ask is that volunteers notify us if they are not able to make it on their scheduled day. All volunteers must:​​

Be age 14 and up
​
Dress appropriately and according to the weather
​​Be comfortable around large animals
​
Wear close-toed shoes at all times
​
Adhere to our volunteer code of conduct at all times

What can I do to help?
Volunteering at the sanctuary is hard work but equally rewarding. If you have a passion for animals and rescue/rehabilitation, then this might be the perfect volunteer position for you. There is lots to do at the sanctuary. If you're interested in physical work, we always have something to fix or improve. Our volunteers do a lot of hands-on work with the donkeys too, such as; picking out hooves, basic training and grooming. We also have positions open for fundraising.
