PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary is a registered Canadian charity. We rely strictly on donations to care for our residents.

How you can help:

PrimRose Donkey Sanctuary is funded entirely by the generosity of our donors. We couldn't do this work for our amazing animals without your support! Tax receipts are available upon request. Below are ways you could help us care for our donkeys:

An Oasis for Daisy & Sally

Daisy and Sally, two blind, bonded minature donkeys, need a safe, permanent home. This spring, we plan to build a dedicated living space on our new property with a four-season shelter, private barnyard and grazing area - designed for their safety, comfort, and daily care. Blind donkeys need a consistent, obstacle free environment, and this Oasis will allow them to live enriched, happy lives without ever needing to leave. Sponsorship

Choose a donkey to sponsor! Your donation pays for the care of your sponsored donkey. The charge is $1,000 annually or $83.33 monthly. Sponsors receive a picture of their chosen donkey and a sponsorship certificate. Sponsors are invited back during operating hours (9am - 3pm) to spend time with their sponsored donkey but must make an appointment ahead of time. Monthly Donation

Become a monthly donor! Your donation goes towards the care of our animals such as medications, farrier care, hay, feed, bedding and also allows us to make "quality of life" improvements to the donkeys' barn and outdoor paddocks.

Volunteer

Your time is one of our most valuable resources. The sanctuary could not function without the dedication of our volunteer team. Our volunteers help with fundraising events, cleaning the barn, grooming the donkeys, and more. If you are interested in volunteering, please click the button below.
